Digg's Adelson Brushes Off Acquisition Rumors
Erick Schonfeld asked Jay Adelson if the rummor was true.
While he would not comment specifically on the rumor, he did say that ever since Google bought YouTube everybody has been speaking with everybody. I then asked him under what circumstances would he sell Digg to a larger entity. He said he would only consider it if he believed that a larger company could do more to democratize media than Digg could on its own.
Afterwards, at the party Adelson was seen having some exasperated words with Michael Arrington, who was heard to respond: "Yeah, but you are still coming to my party, right?"
Anyway, I don't understand why these people is so ashamed to talk about money...
