Om Malik writes about Digg's downtime: Yesterday’s nice facelift and video enhancements brought down Digg earlier this morning, taking it out for nearly two hours. That is a first for Digg, which has worked hard to maintain uptime. Given CEO Jay Adelson’s data center industry roots (and connections), it is hard to imagine him not being obsessed with uptime. I guess, all the buzz got to them.
